Margie's Diner
If you're cruising through Paso Robles and your stomach starts growling, Margie’s Diner is the kind of place that makes you feel like you’ve stumbled on a hidden gem. Tucked away at 1135 24th St, this spot brings serious throwback diner vibes with a welcoming, casual atmosphere. Whether you’re rolling in with friends, wrangling kids, or even bringing your pup along, Margie’s is the kind of no-frills, comfort-first joint that gets it right.
One look at the menu, and it’s clear they don’t mess around with flavor. Their Avocado Club is stacked high and ridiculously satisfying, while the Mushroom Burger is the go-to if you're craving something juicy and packed with umami. And let’s not skip over the real showstopper—Margie’s Famous Chicken Fried Steak. It’s crispy, smothered in gravy, and absolutely hits the spot. Breakfast lovers aren’t left behind either. The French Toast here has that perfect golden crust with just the right amount of sweetness. Feeling more like a classic bite? The Turkey Club Sandwich is always a solid choice, layered and flavorful without going overboard.
What really makes Margie’s stand out isn’t just the food—it’s the vibe. Think moderate noise, tons of laughter, and a place where the portions are as generous as the hospitality. It’s ideal for group hangs, laid-back family meals, or a quick solo lunch where you can just kick back and enjoy something real.
Margie’s Diner doesn’t try to be trendy—it’s just genuinely good. And honestly, that’s what keeps people coming back.

Good food. Service is good. Atmosphere is great. It's like an old school 50-60s diners. Portions are large!
Breakfast was amazing!! Service was great and the best part was we were able to see the nfl games. Our group of 5 enjoyed our food. Restaurant was clean, waiter was friendly, and food was great! Everything you need for a great experience if you're from out of town. Parking can be challenging as they share parking with other restaurants and a hotel. Overall, it's a must try if you're in Paso.
